Overall, I have mixed feelings about this.

Positive:

  • Facebook Connect/Facebook Integration
  • Multiplayers Capabilities
  • Better Highscores
  • Better Game Area Design

Negative:

  • Not Mr. Tiki-related games.
  • Prizes suck/cost is out of whack.
  • Facebook integration is good, but leads to safety issues.
  • Art style is different, Mr. Tiki story no longer relavant.
  • Nonintegration with the normal games area.
  • Would be better if Mr. Tiki developed own Facebook games rather than using others.

Just for the record, I absolutely love the arcade. I can see the detached-from-the-plot point, but it feels more lighthearted that way somehow. And I am sure they can mess around with the prizes as they go. They still don’t have a feel for how we’ll score. Just revisted and saw prices were divided by ten! Although I do agree that at least a little integration witht he normal games would be great.

*drumroll* Well, okay the title may have given it away, but MR. Tiki has an arcade now located in a small greenish building in the slums (which seem less and less slummy every day). And it has games off of forgetster! (which was released earlier semi-secretly. think of a kongregate-like site) Including my favorite game off that site, Bobblox. Also, playing games earns you tikits, which can be exchanged at the prize booth for the following:

100 Tikits- Joke Cola (Get piles of smiles with this fizzy food substitute!)

300 Tikits- Lollipop (MMMmmmm spoils of Halloween war.)

2,000 Tikits- Trisquare Sword (This looks like it goes with the shield!)

2,500 Tikits- Blue Chukapee Plush (Chu…ka…peeeeeeEEEE!)

3,500 Tikits- Trisquare shield (This shield looks like it’s well put together!)

5,000 Tikits- KAPLINK!!! Token (This token allows you to play one game of KAPLINK!!!)

10,000 Tikits- 10,000 Tikit Voucher (Using this item will immediately claim 10,000 Tikits in the Wootropolis Arcade.)

100,000 Tikit Voucher(Using this item will immediately claim 100,000 Tikits in the Wootropolis Arcade)

Two things:

1)These prizes love exclamation marks. Only one  three are missing one in its description, but I think kaplink tokens make up for that (item name and description combined).

2)I just realised I never mentioned that you may only send three scores per game per day.

3) I clearly lied, because I just thought of more things to say.

4)I know the arcade page says it in red, but I thought I should reiterate for everyone’s sake; be sure to read the instructions for each game you play.

5)Expect a list of the games added later, but I really can’t waste any more time before I do my homework right now.

6)Eventually expect guides of some sort for the games or at least the arcade as a whole.

7)Join forgetster! (even if only so that you can practice)
