I miss you guys, what few that still read this blog, I really do.
It has become obvious that the only reason we stay around Mr. Tiki is each other, and it is also obvious that the website is not going anywhere. But I still want to talk to you all.
So, I was thinking, maybe we should circumvent Mr. Tiki and find somewhere else to be together. Whether it be another site or a forum of our creation, I would really like to hang out with you all.
What do you think?

I kind of agree with you Club… The forums on MrTiki are pretty much dead with the occasional new topic or two… a month… And MrTikiTalk isn’t doing much better at all either.
I don’t think we should all totally abandon MrTiki though, but it would be great if there was another, more active place for all the regulars on this blog to hang out at. I would love if everyone just started actually posting on the boards on MrTiki to communicate with each other, but another site would be great as well. Anything with some kind of interaction between real people would be great.
I’m sure a lot of regulars will definitely oppose your idea though unfortunately…
I just wish MrTiki and this blog were as active as they once were, like in the early summer. I long for the days of daily blog posts, new items and features, and heated Wooprentice arguments and tournaments.
But I’m rambling… In short, I miss all of the staff and usual regular commenters too.

I think if you really wanted to talk that bad. Then you should make some posts on Mr. Tiki. I mean come on i see you there a lot here latley but you never post. I never see you in wooprentice any more. I think if you really want to leave then you should. But i think it is treibble to see you encourage others to do so as well. Just because you want to leave doesnt mean any one else does. Just my thoughts.

Mr. Tiki should get a make-over… Does anyone know any good coders and artists? The staff ain’t doin’ nothing, so maybe we the people can revitalize Mr Tiki!

Sorry guys. I wish we could focus on Tiki more, but right now we all have really busy lives. It’s our hope to release some new content soon, Maestro and I have been talking about either releasing something smalll and new, or maybe just teh first piece of the Foggy Coast. My concern is that not releasing the full foggy coast at once will be a let down… but until I can sit down and put the pieces together I won’t be able to get the FC up 100%.
As for the community, I don’t think it’s about location. It’s about activity. Get active and get people to interact.
Finally, regarding content… it’s not a bad idea to start opening MrTiki more to other contributions in some way… just have to find out the right way to do it… art/items are definitely one way. Maybe we should bring on some more admins can can contribute to the content and not just the community?
