The boy from the beach awakes in La Croix’s hut and immediately “asks” three things when he discovers that he still lacks the strength to stand, “Who…where…ow!” La Croix decides to reask these questions of the boy, whose name is finally revealed as Codi after some brief confusion.
La Croix offers Codi some kind of healing brew, and Codi immediately finishes. La Croix, frustrated after Codi gave his name instead of ”who he is” moves on to “where are you from.” Codi cannot remember, but learns that he is currently on Tiki Island. eager for excitement, Codi tries to leave, but La Croix stops him until she gives him a mysterious concoction for emergencies and answers that she sees a lot of “ow” in Codi’s future. Then the pair leave the hut.
