Meter System
Arguably, the most unique thing about the Mr. Tiki is the meter system. Unfortunately, it is not used to nearly its full potential. It is broken, to say. Let us look at its problems, handily listed in order of importance.

1. The meter has barely any effect on the site. This attribute gives the user little motivation to change their meter.
2. Ways of changing the meter are imbalanced or uneven.
3. One’s meter is not displayed to the public.
4. One has little knowledge of small meter changes, as the triangle barely moves.

Fixes
1. Have nearly everything the user does change the meter in one way or another. Feeding a pet a woo or tiki item, for instance, would change it. Most things on the site could effect the meter, and to my knowledge, many of them don’t.
2. Woo Trading Center has too much of an effect, using stocks has too little. Tweak the system so that it is more fair and just as hard to be a woo as it is to be a tiki.
3. Have a user’s meter displayed on lookups and forum posts.
4. When the mouse hovers over the triangle, add a number (EX: 150/300) to the name declaration, so that users can see small changes.
5. Have the meter effect much more things on the site, so that their is a clear motivation to stay woo, tiki, or neutral.
- User Shop Prices: When user shops come, allow users to add a discount/penalty to their shop based on the meter.
- Shop Prices: Already done, dur. P (and about the only thing it effects!)
- Taxes: Increase the taxes at places, the places with taxes, based on the meter.
- Interest Rates: Have the interest rate at the Bank change slightly based on the meter.
- Shop Access: If a user is too woo/tiki for the shop’s individual needs, the shop can deny access.
- Game Payouts: If you are woo, woo games give you more TT, and vice versa.
- Game Access: If a user is too woo/tiki, they would be blocked from access to a game.
- Board Access: Have woo/tiki boards block entry to people of the opposite group. Neutral people get both boards. Posting on these boards changes the meter.
- Avatar Access: Create 3 avatars, woo/tiki/neutral. Allow the user to only have access to one, depending on what they are. Create avatars that need meter requirements to get.
- Spirit Access: Mort will not let you adopt if your meter is to awry.
- Battle Opponents: Have different battle opponents, depending on the meter. (IE: You need to be Master Woo for the Cheif to fight you.)
- RE: Create more RE that change with your meter.
- Stocks: Have stocks change prices slightly based on the meter.
- Area Access: Block access to some areas of the item based upon the meter.

Pet System
The Mr. Tiki pet system is broken. You could let your pet have nothing for long periods of time, like I do, and nothing will happen. This is bad. Need more problems listed? See below:

1. Spirit care does not effect anything on the site.
2. Nothing happens if spirits are neglected, apart from annoying messages.
3. There are several problems and glitches with the spirit system.

Fixes
1. Woo doesn’t care about spirits, so spirits effect nothing Woo.
2. Make spirits need good health, over 75% for each of the 3 categories, on order to fight.
3. Make HP and health one in the same, it makes no sense to have them different, and it makes sense to have them together. The more HP, the longer it takes for your spirit to weaken.
4. Games involving Spirits, like How Many Flumpers, would not be playable if a neglected spirit is active.
5. Have spirit care effect the meter more.
6. Give spirits emotions and animations for when you brush or feed them.
7. Gain the ability to see a pet’s meters in the spirit care app. Right now, you can only see your active spirit’s stats, and that is in the sidebar.
8. The ability to feed and take care of a pet without making it active, you cannot do this at this moment.

Now on to spirit care consequences:

1. If not well cared for over a period of time, a spirit will get sick.
- Sick spirits can not fight.
- Sick spirits cannot be fed/healed/played/equipped/unequipped with.
2. Sick spirits need to get a specific cure, unique fr the disease, in order to get better. Once cured, all
3 bars get filled to max.
3. If a spirit is still not healed after a while, it will turn grey. Grey spirits can be healed by doing quests for a tiki healer, but after they are cured spirits have their equipped items deleted and their battle stats (luck, speed, ETC.) get zapped to default.
4. E-mail warnings would be given out when a spirit gets sick.
5. For 10K-20K TT a day, spirits could be cared for, to a certain extent (depending on the pay), without user help. Lazy people love this.
